kde-telepathy-minimal software package provides metapackage for installing the basic KDE Telepathy components, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kde-telepathy-minimal
kde-telepathy-minimal is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kde-telepathy-minimal package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kde-telepathy-minimal *
You will get with kde-telepathy-minimal package name, version, architecture and description in a table
